By day, I put on my safety boots and hard hat as a full-time construction project manager—navigating deadlines, budgets, and the practicalities of paying bills. At home, life is just as full: I’m a 40-something, happily married mother to five children, and a guardian to our dog and two cats. I love a good drink, I love to dance, and I’m usually the one trying (often unsuccessfully!) to coax my friends out to a nightclub after midnight.
Yet, beneath the busy graft of everyday life, there has always been a quiet, unwavering thread connecting me to something deeper.
A Lifelong Connection to the Unseen
I’ve been fascinated by the paranormal and the unseen side of life since I was little, long before it was widely embraced. I have always carried a deep, intuitive knowing that there is so much more to this life than what we see on the surface.
For me, spirituality isn’t separate from daily life, nor is it bound by rigid boxes. I was raised a Catholic and am religious, attending Mass weekly whenever I can. Sitting in a church pew feeds the exact same spark of divine love that flows through my energy healing practices, including Reiki healing. As a Pisces Sun with Leo Rising, I balance deep intuition and empathy with a bold, vibrant passion to live my life as fully as I can. The older I become, the more I understand that chakra healing and spirituality don't require you to step away from the real world—they hold you steady right in the middle of it.
My Reiki Journey & The Cinnabar Moth
My path into energy healing truly unfolded through the sacred rhythm of motherhood.
After the birth of my fourth child, something within me shifted. Amid the exhaustion, the softness, and the complete unraveling that comes with raising a family, I felt a quiet pull toward energy healing—a sense that there was something deeper I was meant to reconnect with. Reiki became my lifeline, a grounding thread, and a reminder of who I was beneath all the roles I held.
When my fifth child arrived—born in June, during a season of warmth and renewal—I began to embrace Reiki as my true calling. Throughout my maternity leave, in those hazy, love-soaked days with a newborn in my arms, I kept seeing cinnabar moths everywhere. They glided through the garden, landed on windowsills, and crossed my path at moments that felt too aligned to be accidental. The moth itself became a symbol of transformation, urging me to step forward boldly in my healing journey rather than keeping it tucked quietly in the background of my life.
Today, the cinnabar moth naturally weaves itself into my energy healing practice. During self-healing and client sessions, I draw on its energy alongside crystal tools to amplify grounding, clarity, and transformation.
Why I Created This Space
The Winged Cinnabar was born to show that healing is both earthly and spiritual—that transformation can be gentle, intuitive, and deeply personal, even in the middle of a chaotic life.
